Old Fortress

The time is almost here to raise strong walls and shut the gates. Please look at the majority of products that will be part of the nearest Fantasy Realms release. These compact, affordable, easy-to-build, and modular terrains made from high-density fibreboard will soon hit the Bits of War webstore, with the huge Old Fortress at the forefront.

Old Fortress

Old Fortress is a majestic sight. Its walls - thick and solid - saw many sieges, but stand still. This universal construction may not be the most elegant, but it serves its purpose well.

This set will contain six Walls, four Towers, a Gate, a Storehouse, a Wooden Staircase, and a set of Pennants. Approximate dimensions of the assembled Fortress: Height: 6.5" / 16.5 cm, Width (base): 14.4" / 36.5 cm, Length (base): 14.4" / 36.5 cm.

Old Fortress - Walls

The walls that make up the fortress are built with one purpose in mind: to withstand. Sometimes, similar fortifications are raised in the open wild to protect important areas or merchant routes.

This set will contain three straight Fortress Walls. Approximate dimensions of one Wall: Height: 4.3" / 11 cm, Width (base): 3.7" / 9.3 cm, Length (base): 2.6" / 6.5 cm.

Old Fortress - 45 degrees Walls

Not always can the fortress walls be built straightforwardly. When the terrain dictates, the fortifications can be irregular.

This set will contain two 45-degree Fortress Walls. Approximate dimensions of one Wall: Height: 4.3" / 11 cm, Width (base): 3.0" / 7.5 cm, Length (base): 2.4" / 6 cm.

Old Fortress - 90 degrees Walls

Usually, the corners of the fortress are graced by the majestic towers. Nonetheless, when the fortification isn't especially crucial or meant to be extraordinarily tough, simple 90-degree walls replace the towers.

This set will contain two 90-degree Fortress Walls. Approximate dimensions of one Wall: Height: 4.3" / 11 cm, Width (base): 3.1" / 7.8 cm, Length (base): 3.1" / 7.8 cm.

Old Fortress - Ruined Walls

Even the mightiest constructions can be taken down: either by time or siege engines. Remnants of once great fortifications are scattered across the realms.

This set will contain two Ruined Fortress Walls. Approximate dimensions of one Wall: Height: 4.3" / 11 cm, Width (base): 2.6" / 6.5 cm, Length (base): 2.6" / 6.5 cm.

Old Fortress - Tower

Fortress towers are durable. They are practical enhancements built at the most strategic points of fortifications.

This set will contain one Fortress Tower with switchable windows/doors, a wooden flap, and a playable interior. Approximate dimensions of the Tower: Height: 6.5" / 16.5 cm, Width (base): 3.7" / 9.5 cm, Length (base): 3.7" / 9.5 cm.

Old Fortress - Gate

Naturally, a gate will be the most vulnerable point in any fortification. That is why every good constructor does everything in their power to strengthen such a gate as much as possible.

This set will contain two short side Walls and one Fortress Gate with removable gates and a playable interior. Approximate dimensions of the assembled Gate: Height: 4.7" / 12 cm, Width (base): 7.2" / 18.5 cm, Length (base): 3.7" / 9.7 cm.

In addition to the sets above, we will release several smaller sets, including Old Paved Roads and separate parts of Old Fortress: Storehouse, Wooden Staircase, and Pennants. All those products were designed to fit 28 mm scale wargames. The products will be supplied unpainted and require assembly. Instructions will be available as a digital PDF.
